GAA

On Saturday, The Kildare Senior Football Team play 2025 All-Ireland Champions Kerry for a challenge match in Cedral St. Conleth's Park.

Kick off at 5pm.

 

SOCCER

Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne both rounded off their Conference League campaigns with positive results last night

The Hoops beat Hamrun of Malta by three goals to one at Tallaght Stadium while Shels earned a nil-all draw in Slovenia against Celje.

Both Irish clubs were already out of contention for a place in the knockout phase before last night's games.



GOLF

Rory McIlroy says winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award caps off the most memorable year of his career.

He completed a career Grand Slam in 2025 by winning the Masters and also helped Europe win the Ryder Cup.

McIlroy told the audience last night he won't ever forget the last 12 months.

 

RUGBY

James Ryan will become Leinster's latest centurion when he lines out for tonight's URC derby against Ulster at the Aviva Stadium.

The visitors arrive in Dublin with Stuart McCloskey back in the team after a spell out through injury.

Kick off is at 7.45pm.

 

DARTS

Five Irish players are in action today at the PDC World Darts Championship in London.

First up is Mickey Mansell in the afternoon session - he faces Leonard Gates.

That match is followed by the meeting of Josh Rock and Gemma Hayter.

This evening, Willie O'Connor faces Krzysztof Kciuk and Keane Barry plays Tim Pusey.

Daryl Gurney begins his campaign against Beau Greaves.

 

RACING

Dundalk hosts an eight-race card this evening.

The first goes to post at 4:30pm.
