Galway Edge Kerry To Claim TG4 All-Ireland Title

Galway are TG4 All-Ireland senior ladies football champions for the first time since 2004 after a dramatic one-point win over Kerry at Croke Park.

Galway ended a 22-year wait for the TG4 All-Ireland senior ladies football title with a dramatic 2-07 to 0-12 victory over Kerry at Croke Park.

Leanne Coen scored both of Galway's goals, while Eva Noone kicked what proved to be the winning point late in the contest.

Kerry looked set to snatch victory in stoppage time when Síofra O'Shea's free found the net, but the goal was ruled out for a square-ball infringement, leaving Galway to celebrate only their second senior All-Ireland crown.

The win avenges Galway's defeat to Kerry in the 2024 final and secures their first Brendan Martin Cup since 2004.
