Ger Brennan Leaves Role As Louth Senior Football Manager

The former Moorefield manager is now favourite to take over as Dublin manager

Ger Brennan has emerged as the front-runner to succeed Dessie Farrell as Dublin senior football manager.

Brennan confirmed last night that he's stepping down after an 'extraordinary journey' during his two years as Louth manager.

Louth landed their first Leinster title in 68 years in May, and the former All-Ireland winner with Dublin had the option of a third year in charge.

Brennan also managed the Moorefield senior footballers.
