Gold Medal For Paul O'Donovan & Fintan McCarthy

They are back to back Olympic gold medal winners

Cork's Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy are back to back Olympic gold medal winners.

The Skibbereen pair successfully defended their Lightweight Men’s Double Sculls title in Paris.

It means O'Donovan is the first Irish athlete to win medals at the 3 different Olympic Games.

Earlier, Fermanagh duo Ross Corrigan and Nathan Timoney finished 6th in their Men's Pair final.

And Aoife Casey and Mags Cremen were 5th in the Women’s Lightweight Double Sculls final.
