Heavy Rain Forces Cancellation Of Tomorrow's Fairyhouse Fixture

More than 30 millimetres of rain has fallen in recent days, leaving the track unsuitable for racing.

Saturday’s race meeting at Fairyhouse Racecourse has been cancelled due to heavy rain.

In a statement, the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board said further rainfall is forecast and confirmed the fixture scheduled for Saturday, January 24, will not go ahead.
