Injury Setbacks Force Ireland Rethink Ahead of Australia Test

Ireland are preparing for next week's Nations Championship opener, but injuries are forcing Andy Farrell into several late selection decisions.

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has plenty to consider ahead of next Saturday's clash with Australia after a string of injuries disrupted his squad.

Captain Dan Sheehan is set to lead the side, while Kildare's Sam Prendergast is among the players hope to secure the number 10 jersey following Jack Crowley's absence.

Tom O'Toole is expected to feature at loosehead after an impressive Six Nations campaign.
