The Kildare Intermediate and Junior Football Championships continue today, with seven games taking place across the county following the opening fixtures last night.
In the Intermediate Championship on Friday evening, Milltown got their campaign off to a winning start with a 3-12 to 1-12 victory over Ballyteague at St Conleth's Park.
There was also a win for Athgarvan in the Junior Championship, as they recorded a 7-25 to 0-03 victory over Ardclough at Hawkfield.
Attention now turns to a busy Saturday.
Cappagh play Castlemitchell in the Junior Championship at Hawkfield at 1.30pm.
Two Intermediate fixtures follow at the same venue, with Grange playing Nurney at 5pm before Castledermot play Two Mile House at 5.30pm.
There is also an Intermediate double-header at St Conleth's Park.
Kilkullen play Monasterevin at 2.30pm, before Confey play Straffan at 5.15pm.
In the Junior Championship, Robertstown play Kevins at Clane at 2.30pm.
The day's action at Clane concludes with Leixlip against Suncroft in the Intermediate Championship at 5pm.
