Heimir Hallgrimsson says his backroom team is “integral” to what Ireland are building
Republic of Ireland head coach Heimir Hallgrimsson has described his coaching team as "integral to everything we are building".
Hallgrimsson's assistant John O'Shea, assistant coach Paddy McCarthy and goalkeeping coach Gudmundur Hreidarsson have all signed new deals with the FAI.
They'll remain as his backroom team up until and including the 2028 European Championship.
Hallgrimsson put pen to a contract extension before their World Cup playoff against Czechia in March.
