Beibhinn Parsons and Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe with the Irish tries in Parma.
The second try was particularly impressive with Parsons beating seven Italians defenders in the build-up.

As things stand, Ireland still could top the round-robin group to qualify automatically for next year's tournament.
All four teams have five points with Griggs' side set to take on Scotland on Saturday.
