Ireland has withdrawn its bid to host the Grand Depart of the Tour De France in 2026 or 2027.
The governments of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland had submitted an expression of interest in the autumn of 2022.
But the plan has been shelved due to a lack of a functioning government in Northern Ireland at present.
