The competition begins next week.

Andrew Balbirnie could be a doubt for the T-20 World Cup, which begins next week.

The Irish captain sustained a foot injury in yesterday's loss to the UAE.

He has had an x-ray to assess the damage.

Ireland begin their campaign against the Netherlands next Monday.

Meanwhile, the Irish women's cricket team are 194 for 2 in their final one-day international against Zimbabwe.

That's after 35 overs in Harare, where Gaby Lewis scored 78 off 87 balls.

Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bowl.
