Leona Maguire, Lauren Walsh, and Anna Foster have all missed the cut at the AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
Ireland's hopes at the AIG Women's Open are over after Leona Maguire, Lauren Walsh and Anna Foster all failed to make the cut at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
Maguire came closest to extending her week, but a second-round 74 left her one shot outside the cut line.
After recovering from a difficult start with two birdies on the front nine, a costly double bogey on the 13th and another dropped shot at the 14th ended her chances.
Kildare's Lauren Walsh also exited the tournament after consecutive rounds of 75 left her eight-over par, while Dublin's Anna Foster finished at nine-over following a second-round 76.
At the top of the leaderboard, South Korea's Ryu Hae-ran holds a one-shot advantage heading into the weekend after recovering from an early setback to post a second-round 69 and move to seven-under par.
