Laois teenager Becca Allen has claimed the Junior Darts Corporation Girls Series title at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Irish darts prospect Becca Allen is setting her sights on the next stage of her career after capturing the Junior Darts corporation Girls Series title in Blackpool.
The 17-year-old from Laois defeated England's Macy Gibbons in a deciding leg to claim the prestigious junior crown on the famous Winter Gardens stage, producing a series of clinical finishes to secure victory.
Allen, who completed her Leaving Cert earlier this year, says she now has plans to balance her studies in digital media design with a busy darts schedule.
Her immediate targets include the PDC Women's Series, the Junior Power League, and the WDF Europe Cup later this year.
The teenager has enjoyed a rapid rise through the junior ranks, adding the JDC title to previous successes on the international circuit as she continues to establish herself as one of Ireland's brightest young darts talents.
