He was sacked by Rugby Australia in 2019.

Israel Folau will play club rugby in Japan next season with the Shining Arcs.

The 32-year-old was sacked by Rugby Australia in 2019 over homophobic comments he posted on social media.

The former Wallabies full back will be coached by former Munster head coach Rob Penney, who is returning to the Japanese club as their director of rugby.
