Three more Irish boxers will look to book quarter-final places today.

Jude Gallagher has reached the men's lightweight quarter-finals at the European Elite Championship.

The Tyrone man forced a stoppage in the third round against Frenchman Lounes Hamraoi.

Kellie McLoughlin failed to get past Sthélyne Grosy of France in the women's lightweight.

Three more Irish boxers will look to book quarter-final places in Sofia today.

Double Olympian Michaela Walsh has her first bout of the Championship in the evening session, while Gavin Rafferty is also in last-16 action.

Jon McConnell will also fight for a medal in the evening session, against Italy's Gabriele Rontani.
