Robbie Keane has confirmed he is stepping down as manager of Hungarian side Ferencvaros after 16 months in charge.
Robbie Keane has announced his departure from Ferencvaros following a successful spell with the Hungarian club.
The former Republic of Ireland captain guided Ferencvaros to a league title last season, while they finished runners-up in the league and won the domestic cup this year.
Keane confirmed the news in a social media statement, saying the decision came after "a great deal of thought and reflection".
The Dubliner had been linked with a move to Celtic in recent days following reports he was set to leave the Budapest club.
