Rhasidat Adeleke runs for gold in the European Under 20 Athletics Championships

The second round of the Open Championship is underway at Royal St George's.

Leader Louis Oosthuizen tees off later from 6 under par.

He is followed on 5 under by Jordan Spieth and Brian Harman.

Padraig Harrington is 3 over for the tournament after 4 holes of his second round.

Shane Lowry and Darren Clarke are 1 over.

And Rory McIlroy birdied the last hole last night to get back to even par.

His second round begins at 10.20.

Meanwhile, Bryson DeChambeau has apologised to his club manufacturers Cobra for saying his driver 'sucked' during his first round.

The American struggled to find the fairway, ending the day one over par.

DeChambeau posted on Instagram calling his comments 'very unprofessional' and saying it was he, rather than his equipment, who sucked.

SOCCER

In the SSE Airtricity League, co-leaders St Pats and Shamrock Rovers are both in action this evening.

St Pat's host Drogheda United in Inchicore, while Shamrock Rovers are away to Derry City.

Both games get under way at 7.45.

GAA

The under 20 Ulster football championship finalists will be known by tonight, with both semi finals throwing in at 8pm.

Last year's beaten finalists Donegal take on Monaghan at Brewster Park in Enniskillen.

And the Athletic Grounds in Armagh hosts the meeting of Down and Fermanagh.

ATHLETICS

Rhasidat Adeleke runs for gold in the European Under 20 Athletics Championships in Tallinn this afternoon.

The Tallaght AC sprinter qualified fastest in yesterday's 100 metre semi finals, comfortably winning her semi final in 11.38 seconds.

That race is set to go off at 3.20pm Irish time.

RACING

There's racing today in both Killarney and Kilbeggan.

An 8 race card gets under way in Killarney at 1.40pm, before the action in Kilbeggan starts at 25 past 4.
