Kildare now has two teams in the AIL Division 1B ahead of next season.
Kildare rugby clubs enjoyed a big day in the All-Ireland League as both Naas and MU Barnhall secured important victories.
Naas will remain in Division 1B next season after defeating Instonians 47-26, rounding off a strong campaign with a convincing win. The Lilywhites showed attacking flair throughout, ensuring their status for 2026/27.
Meanwhile, MU Barnahll earned promotion from Division 2A, which has been a while coming due to their dominance this season. A hard-fought 26-20 win over Wanderers helped them celebrate a return to Division 1B. It caps a memorable season for the Kildare side and sets them up for the challenges ahead.
With Kildare now having two teams in the AIL Divsion 1B, both clubs look ahead to next season with momentum and confidence. Keeping Kildare well represented in the higher tiers of Irish club rugby.
