Kildare talent shines as Leinster hold firm to secure a big URC win in Belfast.
Leinster Rugby came through a dramatic second-half test to defeat Ulster 29-21 and move up to third in the URC standings.
There was a strong Kildare influence on the night, with Same Prendergast producing an assured display at out-half. He contributed heavily on the scoreboard, and crossed for a crucial fourth try early in the second-half, helping Leinster build what looked like a match winning lead.
Fellow Kildare man Jimmy O'Brien also made his mark, finishing off a well-worked move in the first half to extend Leinster's advantage before the break.
Leinster were in complete control at 29-0, but Ulster mounted a late surge with three quick tries to bring the game back to life. Despite being reduced to 14 players late on, the visitors showed composure to see it out and secure a valuable bonus-point win.
