Kildare's senior ladies footballers travel to Meath this afternoon (2pm).
Kildare get their TG4 Leinster Senior Championship campaign underway this afternoon (April 26th) with a tough trip to Meath for a 2pm throw-in.
The Lilywhites will be looking to make a strong start in Round 1.
Kildare will have confidence heading into today's clash, but Meath remain one of the province's most consistent sides and will provide a serious test early on.
Elsewhere this afternoon, there are also opening round games in the other provinces, with Armagh hosting Donegal in Ulster, while Kerry take on Waterford in Munster.
For Kildare, the focus is firmly on getting off to a positive start and building momentum in what is a demanding Leinster campaign.
