Kildare are through to the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship quarter-finals after a 1-13 to 0-9 victory over Tipperary.

Kildare have booked their place in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship quarter-finals after a 1-13 to 0-9 victory away to Tipperary in Clonmel.

Mayah Doyle's first-half goal helped The Lilywhites establish control, while strong performances from Aoife Rattigan, Ruth Sargent, and Lara Curran ensured Kildare maintained their advantage throughout the contest.

The result sees Pat Sullivan's side progress from Group 2 and into the knockout stages of the championship.

Kildare's reward is a quarter-final meeting with Armagh, with fixture details expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
