Kildare's minors came close to an All-Ireland final but we're edged by Tyrone 1-15 to 1-12.
The Lilywhites battled all the way to the final whistle and remained in contention throughout, but Tyrone's extra firepower ultimately proved decisive in a contest that was settled by just three points.
Kildare's young side showed plenty of character and determination against one of the competition's strongest sides, refusing to back down and keeping pressure on the Ulster champions throughout.
While the disappointment will be the immediate feeling, the Kildare minors can take immense pride from a campaign that saw them reach the last four in the country and showcase the county's emerging talent on the national stage.
Kildare minor manager Tommy Konstantin admitted "the future is bright" when asked about his feelings after the contest.
Full time: Kildare 1-12 Tyrone 1-15.
