Kildare Minors Progress in Leinster with Win Over Westmeath

Focus now shifts to Senior Hurlers as Joe McDonagh Cup campaign begins against Kerry

The Kildare minor footballers advanced in the Leinster Championship, with a win over Westmeath in Cedral St. Conleth's Park last night.

The full time score was Kildare 0-22 Westmeath 1-13.

Attention now turns to the Senior Hulers, who get their Joe McDonagh Cup campaign underway tomorrow.

Brian Dowling's side play Kerry in Newbridge with throw-in at 2 o'clock.

Kfm will have live updates of the match this evening's Weekend Sports Preview show from 6.25 will look ahead to all the action.
