Kildare Senior Hurling And Football Teams Named For Saturday's Games

Kfm will have live commentary of both games in association with Hanlon Concrete Robertstown

It’s a massive day of local GAA action in Newbridge tomorrow.

There’s a double header in Cedral St Conleth’s Park, as the hurlers play Dublin in the preliminary quarter-final of the All-Ireland Championship at 4pm.

Brian Dowling has named his team and it is as follows:

In goal: Paddy McKenna (Clane)

Full backs: Richy Hogan (Naas), Rian Boran (Naas), Dan O'Meara (Maynooth)

Half backs: Simon Leacy (Naas), Cian Boran (Naas), Paul Dolan (Eire Og Corra Choill)

Centre field: Daire Guerin (Naas), Cathal McCabe (Maynooth)

Half forwards: James Burke (Naas), Gerry Keegan (Celbridge), David Qualter (Maynooth)

Full forwards: Darragh Melville (Leixlip), Cathal Dowling (Naas), Jack Sheridan (Naas)

Then, at 6.30pm, the footballers play Offaly in the quarter-final of the Tailteann Cup.

Kfm will have live commentary of both games in association with Hanlon Concrete Products, Robertstown.

There are also two games in Manguard Park Hawkfield.

The Kildare senior ladies footballers play Meath in the All Ireland Championship at 12.45, followed by their camogie counterparts playing Carlow at 2.30.
