Kildare Show Late Fight Against Dublin in Leinster Championship

Kildare were beaten 3-24 to 1-19 by Dublin in Parnell Park.

Kildare produced a strong finished but were ultimately beaten well by Dublin in Round 2 of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship at Parnell park this afternoon (Sunday, April 26th).

Dublin ran out 3-24 to 1-19 winners, but the Lilywhites can take positives from a determined second-half display, where they showed real resilience.

After facing a tough spell against a clinical and comfortable Dublin side, who relished playing at home.

Kildare responded well in the closing stages, with their forward line finding more rhythm.

Jack Sheridan led the scoring with an impressive return, while contributions across the team helped Kildare finish the game on a high.

Despite the result, Kildare prepare for Galway in two weeks time, and another tough test.
