Kildare Town AFC Seeking Public Support In Funding A New 4G Astro Pitch

The club was set up in 1966

Kildare Town AFC are seeking to raise €450,000 to build a new 4G Astro pitch with flood lights and are seeking public support.

Kildare Town's population has now exceeded 10,000 and is experiencing rapid growth with no additional amenity infrastructure for the younger generation.

The town has the largest DEIS school in the diocese and the need for social infrastructure to help Kildare town absorb a growing population is essential.

Kildare Town AFC was set up in 1966 and is based at the edge of Curragh on the Rathbride Road.
