Kildare endured a tough outing in Round 2 of the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship Tier 1, losing 1-19 to 0-9 against Galway.
Galway proved the stronger side throughout, building a commanding lead and keeping Kildare at arm's length over the course of the contest.
Despite the result, it's another valuable experience for a developing Kildare side competing at a high level in Tier 1.
