Kildare golfer Lauren Walsh will play the weekend at the Meijer LPGA Classic after producing a second-round 69.
Walsh climbed 41 places up the leaderboard on Friday to move into a tie for 49th place on two-under par overall, safely inside the cut line.
After a difficult opening round, Walsh bounced back in style.
After birdying two of her opening holes before an eagle at the par-five 18th sparked her charge up the standings.
Further birdies on the front nine helped her finish three-under for the day.
The strong round leaves Walsh eight shots off the lead heading into the weekend, with China's Y.J. Jiang setting the pace at ten-under par.
Meanwhile, Cavan's Leona Maguire missed the cut after finishing two shots outside the qualifying mark.
Walsh will now look to continue her upward momentum over the final two rounds in Michigan.
