Leinster's dreams ended as Bordueax-Bégles walked away champions 41-19 in Bilbao.
Leinster suffered another disappointing Champions Cup final defeat after Bordeaux claimed a deserved victory at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao.
The French side were favourites and pulled away in the second half with a clinical attacking display, punishing Leinster mistakes and showing their quality.
Leon Cullen's side were outmatched early, with the half-time score being 35-7.
Garry Ringrose crossed late on for Leinster, but it proved to be little more than a consolation as Bordeaux saw the second-half out to secure the European crown.
The defeat means Leinster have now lost four Champions Cup finals in the last five seasons, with their last European success back in 2018.
