Leona Maguire is one-over-par after an opening round of 73 at the Maybank Championship in Malaysia.

The Cavan golfer made two birdies but her card also included one bogey and a double bogey at the second.

Mao Saigo is the leader on nine-under-par.

Meanwhile, Seamus Power is one-under-par after his opening round at the Zozo Championship in Japan.

Taylor Moore of America is the leader on seven-under-par.
