Soccer

Shamrock Rovers are two wins away from retaining the League of Ireland Premier Division title.

The Hoops drew 1-1 with Bohemians at Tallaght Stadium last night.

A second half goal by Richie Towell cancelled out Liam Burt's opener.

In the Premier League, Arsenal and Crystal Palace played out a 2-2 draw.

Alexandre Lacazette salvaged a point for the Gunners with a goal in stoppage time.

Liverpool and Manchester City are in Champions League group stage action later.

Liverpool are in Spain to face Atletico Madrid in Group B from 8pm.

The other match in that group involves Porto and AC Milan.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is not the biggest fan of Atletico's footballing style, but he respects them:

City are in Belgium to face Club Brugge in Group A from 5.45pm.

The other game in that group is between Paris Saint Germain and RB Leipzig.

Celtic host Ferencvaros in the Europa League group stage this afternoon.

There's a 3.30pm kick-off at Parkhead.

There are five matches in the Championship this evening.

The leaders Bournemouth, who have added Robbie Brady to their ranks, are away to Stoke City.
