The preliminary round gets underway
Local GAA attention this weekend turns to the preliminary round of the UPMC Senior Hurling Championship.
Tonight, Naas play Coill Dubh at 7.30pm in Manguard Park Hawkfield, while at the same time in Clane, Celbridge play Maynooth.
Tomorrow, at 5.15pm Eire Og play Ardclough in Clane, followed by Moorefield against Confey at 7.
In the Senior B Championship, Leixlip play Broadford at 2.30pm tomorrow and St Laurence’s play Kilcock at 3.45pm.
Both games are in Hawkfield.
