The Louth TD announced his resignation on Sunday after the GAA expressed concern over the financing of the new stadium in the county.
However this morning it's been revealed he's performed a u-turn and is leading a delegation at Croke Park.
Fitzpatrick and his colleagues are discussing finances and issues around the start of the stadium build.
Louth GAA Chairperson Peter Fitzpatrick had tendered his resignation on Sunday night but following discussions in the last 24 hours, he has withdrawn his resignation and will lead delegation to Croke Park this afternoon.
