Maguire Makes The Cut As Walsh And Meadow Exit PGA Championship

Leona Maguire will play the weekend at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

Leona Maguire kept her challenge alive at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship after a strong second-round 69 saw the Cavan golfer safely make the cut at Hazeltine.

Maguire recovered from an opening-round 75 to finish level par overall and secure a place for the weekend.

It was disappoint for Kildare's Lauren Walsh, whose second-round 78 left her seven over par and outside the cut line.

Stephanie Meadow also missed out despite improving with a second-round 72, finishing the tournament at 10 over.
