Ireland's women's 4x400m relay team have secured qualification for next year's World Championships after winning their race at the World Athletics Relays in Botswana.
The team of Rachel McCann, Sophie Becker, Arlene Crossan, and Sharlene Mawdsley produced a season's best time of 3:23:83.
Mawdsley's split of 48.34 was the fastest ever recorded by an Irish athlete, underlining the brilliant performance by the Irish team.
This mean's Ireland have booked their place at the World Championships in Beijing.
