Maynooth reach Leinster Junior Camogie Semi Finals

Ballyteague and Straffan suffer Leinster Football defeats.

Maynooth are through to the semi finals of the Leinster Junior Camogie Championship.

Two early goals sent them on their way to an impressive 4-15 to 0-02 at home to Mount Leinster Rangers.

Ballyteague’s Leinster Intermediate Football campaign came to an end with 2-19 to 0-10 quarter final defeat to Dunshaughlin of Meath at Pairc Tailteann.

The sides were level at the break by Dunshaughlin pulled away with 2 goals in quick succession.

Ger McNally was watching.

Straffan’s Leinster Junior Football campaign came to an end with a 3-04 to 0-8 defeat to Clonmore at Dr Cullen Park.

Straffan were leading at the break, but the Carlow champions finished the stronger.
