McIlroy Falls Back at Truist Championship

Rory McIlroy slipped out of contention after a difficult third round in North Carolina.

Rory McIlroy's hopes of another Truist Championship title faded after a third-round 75 left him 13 shots off the lead.

The Masters champion began the day four shots behind, but a run of six bogeys saw him drop to one under par.

England's Alex Fitspatrick leads on 14 under, one shots clear of Norway's Kristoffer Reitan.

Elsewhere, Seamus Power is tied for 70th at the Myrtle Beach Classic after a third-round 72.
