Men's Hurlers & Minor Football Teams Named For Tomorrow's Games; Action At Curragh Today

Managers David Herity & Cyril Kevlihan named their teams last night

The county senior hurling team to play Carlow in the Joe McDonagh Cup tomorrow has been named by manager David Herity as have the men’s Minor footballers, who take on Longford in Round 1 of the Leinster Minor Football Championship on Saturday.

Last night, manager Cyril Kevlihan, named his team – here’s Clem Ryan with both teams:

The minor match has a 12pm throw-in, with the hurlers beginning at 4pm, both at St. Conleth’s Park, in Newbridge.

In the USA, Seamus Power shot a 4 under par round of 66 to lie in a tie for 9th at the Travelers Championship going into day two.

The lead is shared on 7 under by Kramer Hickok and Satoshi Kodaira.

Leona Maguire took a level par opening round at the Women's PGA Championship in Atlanta.

She is 5 shots behind leader Lizette Salas.

Soccer

Leaders St Patrick's Athletic are away to Waterford in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division tonight.

Champions Shamrock Rovers host Drogheda United with one thousand fans to attend Tallaght Stadium.

Elsewhere, Finn Harps play Longford Town and it's Dundalk to meet Derry City.

The Ireland Under 20's resume their Six Nations campaign with a match against Wales at the Arms Park tonight, with an 8pm start.
