County champions Naas are through to another semi-final where they will face Clane in a repeat of last year’s final.

In a game where scores were hard to come by, Niall Kelly stamped his class all over it with 4 point and Athy are through to the Semi-Finals to take on Celbridge.

Celbridge : 1-14 Sarsfields : 1-11.

St Laurence’s retain their Senior status while Ballyteague are relegated to Intermediate.

In the KDFL Maynooth Town claimed the Ace Sports awards Masters cup at the weekend over Newbridge Town. 

Caragh Celtic were crowned Georgina Donnelly Premier Cup winners following victory over Kildare Town. 

Monasterevin  womens team are the So Fresh Entertainment womens division title for the first time in the clubs history.

St Patrick's Athletic will look to close the gap on SSE Airtricity League Premier Division leaders Shamrock Rovers tonight.

The Saints welcome Drogheda United to Inchicore - with a win set to see them leapfrog Derry City into second and move to within three points of the summit.

At the same time, there's a big game in the race for European football as Bohemians host Shelbourne at Dalymount Park.

Mark Allen is hoping to go one better in the British Open this year as the tournament gets underway this afternoon.

The Northern Irishman was beaten in last year's final by Ryan Day.

Allen gets this year's campaign underway against Anthony McGill in the first qualifying round at 3pm.

Dublin resident Shaun Murphy kicks off his tournament when he takes on Rebecca Kenna at 8pm.
