Monday Morning Sports Update

Keeping you up to date on soccer, and darts.

SOCCER

Morgan Rogers scored twice to help Aston Villa to a tenth consecutive win in all competitions yesterday.

They beat Manchester United by two goals to one at Villa Park to move to within three points of Premier League leaders Arsenal.

There's one game tonight, with Fulham at home to Nottingham Forest from 8pm.

Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy secured his first win as manager yesterday.

The Hoops beat Aberdeen by three goals to one in the Scottish Premiership.

Leaders Hearts remain six points clear after their 2-1 win over Rangers.

DARTS

Luke Littler insists back-to-back PDC World Darts Championship titles is the only thing he wants after safely reaching the third round.

The title-holder was a three sets to nil winner over David Davies at Alexandra Palace last night.

There was disappointment for Meath's Keane Barry, who lost to Martin Schindler by three sets to nil.

And former champion Gerwyn Price also made his exit after a 3-nil defeat to Wesley Plaisier.

Round 2 continues later, with last year's beaten finalist Luke Humphries in action against Paul Lim in the evening session.
