SOCCER

In the Premier League, an injury time penalty from Dominik Szoboszlai saw Liverpool draw 2-2 with Newcastle at St James' Park.

Manchester City secured a dramatic 2-1 win against Bournemouth in their opening match of the season.

Brighton put four goals without reply past Aston Villa at the Amex Stadium.

Tonight, Fulham are home to Chelsea from 8pm.
 

GOLF

An even-par round of 70 was enough for Wyndham Clark to win the BMW Championship in Missouri.

The U.S Open champion finished on 17-under in Missouri, three shots clear of Patrick Cantlay.

A much-improved performance from Rory McIlroy saw him finish in third.

He signed off on a one-under-par round of 69 to end on 13-under.

The Masters champion came into the tournament off the back of a disappointing third-from-bottom finish at the St Jude Championship.

MOTORSPORT

Defending champion Lando Norris was first across the line in yesterday's Dutch Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver's victory keeps his hopes of consecutive titles alive.

Kimi Antonelli's second place finish extended his lead at the top of the drivers championship standings.

He's now 59 points clear of British pair George Russell and Lewis Hamilton ahead of the Italian Grand Prix in just under two weeks.

RACING

There's a seven-race card at Ballinrobe today.

The action gets underway at 4.50pm.
