Kildare have been drawn to play Monaghan in the All Ireland Senior Football Championship preliminary quarter-finals.

The home tie will be played at Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore on Saturday or Sunday, with the fixture details to be confirmed later today.

Three Cleaning Legends Hurling League Finals took place over the weekend:

Naas have claimed the Division 1 title after beating Maynooth by 0-26 to 1-16, a game in which Jack Sheriedan scored 15 points.

In Division 2, Leixlip beat Naas by 2-13 to 1-15.

Éire Óg Corra Choill are Division 3 champions after their 0-19 to 1-11 win over Wolfe Tones

The LFGA Women footballers and camogie players say they'll play the remainder of this year's championships 'under protest'.

In a statement on behalf of all inter-county football and camogie panels, players say they feel the governing bodies 'do not want to hear' of their concerns.

It comes off the back of frustrations around the development of a players charter with the Camogie Association, the LGFA and the GAA.
