Kildare's Hoare and Monaghan Dublin Marathon titles; Clonmullion Lift Lumsden League Cup; Power Wins in Bermuda

Two Kildare athletes had wins at yesterday's Irish Life Dublin City Marathong.

The first male over the line was Taoufik Allam from Morocco in 2.11.30 (2 hours, 11 minutes and 20 seconds)

The first Irish athlete across the line was Martin Hoare of Celbridge AC in 2.20.21

He, also, claimed the national title.

In the wheelchair race the winner, once again, was Olympian Caragh's Patrick "Pa" Monahan in 1.37.28

Yesterday, in Mullarney Park, Castledermot, they beat Clane Utd 4-1

Clonmullion’s 4 goals were scored by Jody Dillon – 2 in each half

Seamus Power has won the Butterfield Bermuda Championship by one shot to give him a second victory on the PGA Tour.

The Waterford native carded a final round of 70 to finish ahead of Belgium's Thomas Deltry.

Power had a share of the lead going into the final day.

He began with three birdies on the front nine and two more on 14th and 17th, to lead by 2

A final hole bogey on the 18th didn’t matter, as he held on to win by 1 stroke
