Kildare will play Dublin in the Leinster Senior Football Championship Semi- Final

In the Leinster Senior Football Championship Quarter Final yesterday Kildare beat Wicklow.

FT Kildare: 1-17(20) Wicklow: 0-10(10).

Kildare now play Dublin in the Leinster semi final in Croke Park next Sunday.

 

Meath are set to enter the Tailteann Cup, after a 1-11 to ten points loss to Offaly in the Leinster quarter-finals.

Galway are on course to retain the Connacht football title.

The Tribesmen will play Sligo in this year's final after a 1-13 to 1-9 win over Roscommon yesterday.

In Ulster, Conor Laverty's Down got the better of Donegal by 2-13 to 1-11.

 

Tomorrow the Kildare U20 Footballers take on Dublin in a repeat of last years EirGrid Leinster Football Championship Final in Carlow at 7.30pm.

Seamus Flanagan's first-half goal was the decisive score as Limerick got their Munster Senior Hurling Championship campaign off to a winning start.

Ireland won the toss and elected to bowl first in Galle.

Sri Lanka won the first test by an innings and 280 runs last week.
