A fatal incident during a race in Germany has led to tributes across the motorsport community.
The motorsport community is in shock following the death of driver Juha Miettinen after a series multi-car incident in the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers in Germany.
The crash, which involved several cars early in the race, led to the event being stopped immediately as emergency crews responded. Despite their efforts, the 66-year-old later died after being taken from his vehicle.
Other drivers involved in the collision were treated as a precaution, with organisers confirming that none of those injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Tributes have been paid from across the sport, including Max Verstappen, who described himself as shocked by the news and offered condolences to Miettinen's family.
