The video, which appeared on the club's TikTok account appeared to mock Osimhen
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is threatening legal action against the club after it posted a TikTok video appearing to mock the player.
The since-deleted clip featured the Nigeria international's penalty miss from their match against Bologna at the weekend.
Osimhen - who helped the Italian club secure its first league title in 30 years last season - is reserving "the right to take legal action" over the social media post.
Osimhen - who was part of the team's Italian title-winning side last season - was seen berating boss Rudi Garcia after being substituted in Sunday's goalless draw.
The video showed Osmihen missing a penalty against rivals Bologna on Saturday, with a sped-up voice dubbed over the top.
Osimhen's agent Roberto Calenda said the post was "not acceptable".
"A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted," he said in a statement.
"We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor," he added.
