Former Republic of Ireland international Noel Hunt has been appointed as Reading's first-team manager on an interim basis until the end of the season.
It comes after the departure of Paul Ince was confirmed this morning.
Reading are currently in the Championship's relegation zone and haven't won in the league since February.
Hunt had previously been in charge of the club's under-21 side.
