Potter Backs Duffy's Long Term Future In Brighton.

The Republic of Ireland defender scored in the 2-nil Premier League win over Watford

Brighton boss Graham Potter has backed Shane Duffy to have a long-term future at the club.

The Republic of Ireland defender scored in the 2-nil Premier League win over Watford to take maximum points from their opening two games.

Duffy had a difficult loan spell at Celtic last season, with the death of his father among a number of off-field struggles.

Potter says he's shown great character after a challenging 12 months.
