Séamus Power has moved firmly into contention heading into the final round of the 3M Open after carding a bogey-free eight-under-par 63.
The Waterford golfer started the day outside the top 20 but surged up the leaderboard with birdies on the third, fourth, seventh, and ninth before adding four more on the back nine, including one on the closing 18th.
Power briefly shared the lead during his round and ends Saturday tied for ninth on 14-under par, six shots behind leader Jackson Koivun, who fired a remarkable 61.
World number one Scottie Scheffler is also among the group tied for ninth after matching Power's 64, setting up an intriguing final round at TPC Twin Cities.
