Seamus Power and his partner Matti Schmid are well placed after two rounds at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, sitting just three shots behind the leaders.
The pair carded a second-round 68 to move to 13-under, sharing 11th place. Their round featured a mix of steady play and late momentum, including three birdies in the closing stretch.
Power contributed with some key moments, including long-range putts and accurate approach play. While Schmid also played his part on the greens.
Elsewhere, Shane Lowry and Brooks Koepka missed the cut, leaving Power as he main Irish interest heading into the weekend at TPC Louisiana.
